VOLTRIOT LIMITED WARRANTY

Last Updated: August 20, 2026

At VOLTRIOT, we stand behind the quality and reliability of the electric bikes we sell. Every eligible new VOLTRIOT purchase is covered by our limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms and exclusions below.

1. Warranty Coverage

The VOLTRIOT Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser of an eligible new electric bike purchased directly from VOLTRIOT.

Frame

 2-Year Limited Warranty

The bicycle frame is covered for two (2) years from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship.

This coverage does not include cosmetic damage, paint, decals, scratches, dents, corrosion, or damage resulting from an accident or impact.

Motor

1-Year Limited Warranty

The electric motor is covered for one (1) year against manufacturing defects and failures caused by defective materials or workmanship.

Battery

1-Year Limited Warranty

The original battery is covered for one (1) year against manufacturing defects.

Normal battery capacity loss resulting from age, charging cycles, storage, temperature, or normal use is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Controller & Electrical Components

1-Year Limited Warranty

The controller, display, throttle, sensors, wiring harnesses, and other original electrical components are covered for one (1) year against manufacturing defects.

Other Components

1-Year Limited Warranty

Original non-wear components may be covered for one (1) year against defects in materials or workmanship unless a different warranty period is specifically stated on the product page or supplied by the component manufacturer.

2. What Is Covered

-If a covered component is determined to have a manufacturing defect during the applicable warranty period, VOLTRIOT may, at its discretion:

-Repair the defective component

-Provide a replacement component

-Replace the defective product

-Provide another appropriate remedy

-The specific remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, availability of replacement parts, and the applicable warranty terms.

3. What Is Not Covered

-This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

-Accidents or collisions

-Crashes or falls

-Racing or competition use

-Stunt riding, jumping, or similar activities

-Abuse or misuse

-Negligent operation

-Unauthorized modifications or tuning

-Modification of the motor, controller, battery, or electrical system

-Installation of incompatible aftermarket parts

-Improper assembly

-Improper maintenance

-Failure to follow the owner's manual

-Improper charging or use of an incorrect charger

-Water intrusion or improper exposure to water

-Fire, flood, lightning, or other environmental events

-Theft or vandalism

-Improper storage

-Commercial or rental use unless specifically approved by VOLTRIOT

-Normal wear and tear

-Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

4. Normal Wear Items

-Normal wear and tear is not covered by this warranty.

-Examples include:

-Brake pads

-Tires and inner tubes

-Chains

-Cassettes and sprockets

-Grips

-Saddles

-Pedals

-Bearings

-Brake rotors

-Cables

-Cosmetic finishes

These components naturally wear through normal riding and require periodic inspection and replacement.

This approach is consistent with how established e-bike warranty policies distinguish manufacturing defects from normal wear.

5. Battery Care

To maintain battery performance and warranty eligibility, customers should:

-Use the charger supplied or approved for the bicycle.

-Follow the charging instructions provided with the bike.

-Avoid opening or modifying the battery.

-Avoid exposing the battery to extreme heat, fire, or water.

-Store the battery according to the manufacturer's instructions.

-Do not use a damaged battery or charger.

-Battery damage resulting from improper charging, tampering, modification, or misuse is not covered.

6. Electric Dirt Bike Use

Electric dirt bikes are designed for the type of riding specified by their individual manufacturer.

Competition, racing, stunt riding, jumping, unauthorized performance modifications, or operation outside the manufacturer's intended use may void applicable warranty coverage.

For models such as high-performance electric dirt bikes, customers should follow the manufacturer's operating and maintenance instructions.

7. Warranty Claim Requirements

To submit a warranty claim, customers should contact VOLTRIOT and provide:

-Full name

-Order number or proof of purchase

-Bicycle model

-Bicycle serial number

-Date of purchase

-Description of the problem

-Clear photographs of the affected area

-Video showing the issue when applicable

-VOLTRIOT may request additional photographs, videos, diagnostic information, or inspection of the bicycle or component before approving a warranty claim.

8. Warranty Inspection

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.

A problem that appears to be a manufacturing defect does not automatically constitute a valid warranty claim. VOLTRIOT may determine whether the issue resulted from a manufacturing defect, normal wear, accident, misuse, modification, or another excluded cause.

If the issue is not covered under this warranty, the customer may be responsible for inspection, replacement-part, labor, and shipping costs where applicable.

9. Shipping & Warranty Repairs

For approved warranty claims, VOLTRIOT will determine the appropriate shipping and repair/replacement arrangement on a case-by-case basis.

Customers should not ship a bicycle or major component to VOLTRIOT without receiving authorization first.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

10. Original Purchaser

Unless otherwise stated on the individual product listing, this warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not automatically transferable to a subsequent owner.

11. Manufacturer Warranties

Certain bikes and components sold by VOLTRIOT may be manufactured by third-party brands.

Where a manufacturer provides its own warranty, that manufacturer's warranty may apply instead of, or in addition to, VOLTRIOT's warranty.

Customers should refer to the warranty documentation supplied with their specific product.

12. Warranty Period

The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser, unless otherwise stated on the product listing or applicable manufacturer warranty.

Replacement parts do not automatically restart the original warranty period.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VOLTRIOT is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use a product.

Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Contact VOLTRIOT

For warranty assistance, customers should contact VOLTRIOT through the Contact page on our website.

Please include your order number and bicycle serial number when contacting us about a warranty issue.
